Wild Horizons Expeditions offers a true backpacking and hiking vacation experience. Specializing in wilderness backpacking trips to scenic areas of Wyoming, Southern Utah and Arizona including the Grand Tetons, Wind River mountain range, Absaroka mountains, Canyonlands, Grand Staircase National Monument, Paria Canyon and the Arizona strip. Wild Horizons also offers trekking tour expeditions to Nepal.
The locations of Wild Horizons’ trips have been carefully selected to avoid crowds in order to provide a true wilderness experience. Both scheduled and custom trips are designed to provided a leisurely pace allowing plenty of time for observing flowers, wildlife and vistas which surround you. They provide experienced guides and all the equipment necessary for a safe and comfortable backcountry experience including backpacks, tents, sleeping bags, pads and three healthy and hearty meals each day.
