Since 1998, Alaska Alpine Adventures has built their business with a combination vision, people, and experience. To this day it is the blend of “what they do” and “who they are” that makes Alaska Alpine Adventures. They are quite simply a group of explorers and naturalists sharing with guests the incredible beauty of Alaska – The Great Land.

By immersing themselves in Alaska every season, Alaska Alpine Adventures is given the opportunity to participate in an experience that is elemental, powerful, wonderful, and at times inexplicable. Every journey and encounter has given them amazing memories, lasting friendships, and valuable experience. Collectively these adventures have shaped the company. In addition to Lake Clark and Katmai National Parks, Alaska Alpine Adventures’ menu of guided trips also includes adventures to Denali, Kenai Fjords, Wrangell-St. Elias, Gates of the Arctic, the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and many more spectacular and rarely seen areas.

Alaska Alpine Adventures incorporates an educational component into all of their itineraries. For most guests, this is their first time hiking, kayaking, or rafting in the Alaska backcountry. From the moment a guest steps off the float-plane, they are immersed in one of the most spectacular and relevant mountain classrooms on earth. Alaska Alpine Adventures teaches clients how to paddle the rafts or kayaks, how to navigate in a trail-less wilderness, how to travel safely in bear country, and how to leave the wilderness as pristine as they found it.

Guides
It takes a talented individual to be able to lead an Alaska expedition, and Alaska Alpine Adventures’ lead guides are true outdoor multi-sport professionals. Alaska Alpine Adventures hand-selects each guide based on their ability to deliver an unparalleled level of customer service, a strong wilderness skill set and background, and an insatiable passion for Alaska's wild spaces. Each is medically certified as a Wilderness First Responder and carries the necessary qualifications to competently backpack, hike, kayak, canoe, and climb throughout Alaska's vast wilderness.
