Alpinehikers specializes in small-group guided hiking tours and custom self-guided tours for both hiking and non-hiking vacations to Switzerland. It is a small, family-run tour company and they are always available by email or phone, and will answer any questions you have promptly.

Clients are given individual attention. Most of the tours are owner led, and when you call with questions or to arrange a self-guided itinerary, you will talk to an owner. Flexibility to fit your schedule. If your dates don't quite fit with the guided tours, Alpinehikers will help you find a solution that does work. Partial tours can be arranged if you need to arrive late or depart early, and guided tours can be combined with self-guided stretches to fill out your vacation. Reservation Policy
A deposit of $500 per person is required to make your reservation, and will be applied toward your trip cost. Full payment is due 60 days before the start of your tour. If final payment is not received by the due date, Alpinehikers reserves the right to treat your reservation as cancelled. After your deposit is received, you will be sent a confirmation of your reservation along with a letter stating your remaining balance and due date. Reserve your spot as soon as you're ready to commit to the trip, as space is limited to 12 per tour.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing (mail, email, or fax), and are subject to the following fees per person: - More than 60 days before departure - $200
- 31-60 days before departure - 50% of tour cost
- 0-30 days before departure - 100% of tour cost
To protect yourself in the event you need to cancel your tour, trip cancellation and travel insurance is highly recommended.
