Located in Patagonia at the end of the World, this ecocamp offers the perfect compromise between hotel accommodations and camping. In Torres del Paine National Park there are large dome-shaped tents where you can stand up straight and lie down on a real bed, enjoying good food in a dining tent. You avoid the arduous and discomfort of traditional camping while remaining in closer contact with the environment and in harmony with nature, more than is possible in a hotel.

From the ecocamp you can make every kind of trip. The Torres del Paine circuit is a tough trek, but Cascada offers shorter and easier routes, as well to established spectacular locations within the park. Nature tours to see flora and fauna of the area - guanacos, orchids, woodpeckers and the like - offer a gentler way of traveling around Torres del Paine to see the glories of Patagonia. Riding the park on horseback is also less arduous than trekking and takes you to exciting and remote 'off-piste' locations.

Trekking in Chile
Trekking in Chile offers a range of treks from the Atacama desert and Altiplano in the North, walking past wildlife such as guanaco and flamingo; hike through central Andes and lake district with volcanoes and primeval forests of araucaria, alerce and other trees, to the glacier valleys and mountains of the Torres del Paine in Patagonia and the national parks in the south. Nature tours, short walks, or trekking can be arranged in the Santiago and Pucon areas. This hiking gives experience of the mountains at close range without the exertion of a long trail. Flowers, birds and wildlife abound in nearly all areas, varying considerably according to the distance from the equator and the local climate.
