Trek-Inn Holidays is a firm that was formed from the enthusiasm and experience of the father and son team of its two primary stakeholders – Daithi Scolard (who has been guiding for many, many years) and Colm Scolard (who gave up the hustle of being a management consultant to do something that he loved). Both are experienced walkers with over 60 years climbing experience between them from around the globe.
At Trek-Inn Holidays we are passionate about giving the customer a quality walking holiday. We therefore walk each of the routes ourselves and hand-pick the accommodations to ensure that the customer gets the true local experience – whatever tour they are on.
Our ethos is quite simple – to only give the customer something that we would be happy with ourselves. And that is reflected in the quality of our route notes, the additional transfers provided to cut out less interesting sections of the trail, the quality of the dining on offer and the attention to personal service.
If there is one thing we enjoy more than developing a new route, it is the satisfaction we get when the customer feedback talks about having had their best holiday ever. That is why we started this business – and that is why we continue.
