We are Katrien and Jose Luis, a Dutch-Ecuadorian couple, living in a remote part of Ecuador and very enthusiastic about traveling in this beautiful country!
We are working as guides, run our tour operation, and have two hostels and therefore know very well what’s on offer in Ecuador! We have picked the most beautiful places for you to visit and can help you out with any personal needs and wishes.

Jose Luis is from an indigenous community in southern Ecuador and knows about the struggle of his own people. This is also why we are called TribuTrek, because we work together with the local tribes in Ecuador! We take you off and on the beaten track, offer tours that you would normally not come across, and try to involve local people as much as we can.
